all items for sale at absutton.com or with our label are made in our studio, located in upstate New York. we strive to use the highest quality materials from small-batch suppliers. this means we may not get exactly the same color when we reorder leather and fabric. we like this. our suppliers aren't making huge and excess amounts of products and nor are we. we're also exploring organically grown leathers and hope to have a line of green products in the future. Moving in this direction is taking longer than we had initially hoped. Finding leather that is responsibly farmed and tanned is proving difficult. If you have any leads for us, send us a note!
