buckskin* tote
This bag was made based on sketches. after creating a pattern we were allowed to alter the design as we went and have fun with it. Some interesting things happened along the way, and we accomplished what we set out to do- use as much of the hide as possible, no hardware, relaxed design, keep it natural.
*a note about buckskin: this stuff is amazing. we've read it can even be washed in water. we'll have to make another bag and experiment. It's also an organic leather (wild deer), tanned in an ancient and utterly sustainable manner by a tiny company in Oregon. Doesn't come cheap, but it's worth it if you care about this kind of thing.

moleskine cahier cover
this is an example of a bespoke item that was similar to a product we carry custom-made. While it looks like a moleskine notebook cover, it is actually a 4-pocket cahier book cover. We created a new pattern for this item but are familiar enough with the curves of a moleskine to get it right without needing to make samples. |

makeup case, first sample
The first sample almost always looks like a mess. This is the very first attempt to get the fit correct. If we're going from scratch, it typically takes us 2-3 samples to get the design perfect.

iPhone simple slip with alterations
this is something we do all the time. take a product from our store and make changes to it to suit a customers needs. iphone cases have had... belt clips, card cases, key rings, logos and even secret messages added to them. You can also provide your own fabric (for example, a vietnam vet had us use a part of his old uniform as the lining fabric on a wallet).
